Jim Gray is lost at sea

Every computer science (Informatics) Student, who came across transactions should be heard of Jim Gray. Also know for his book “Transaction Processing. Concepts and Techniques” that his wrote with Andreas Reuter. If i’m not mistaken he was curating science work of Sergey Brin (Google Founder) and Werner Vogels (CTO, VC at Amazon)

Now its been reported that Jim Gray is missing at sea :(

Update: Having been missing for five years as of May 16, 2012, Gray is legally assumed to have died at sea.
